Our aim is to make every visit relaxed, enjoyable, and fair for all our guests.
To help us provide the best possible experience, please take a moment to read our booking guidelines below.
Deposits & Booking Confirmation
To confirm your reservation, a small deposit is required.
Please note that reservations without a deposit will be automatically cancelled the following day.
Deposit amounts:
- Up to 5 guests – £5 per person
- 6 or more guests – £10 per person

- In person at the restaurant (please keep your receipt), or
- By bank transfer to:

If paying by bank transfer, please let us know once payment has been made so we can confirm your booking.
Cancellations & Refunds:
As a small restaurant with only 15 tables, last-minute cancellations have a significant impact — even one can mean a £60–£90 loss. Our cancellation policy is in place to help us stay sustainable and to protect the business from frequent short-notice cancellations. Therefore deposits are non-refundable if you cancel or change your date:
- Less than 72 hours before your booking (1–7 guests)
- Less than 5 days before your booking (8+ guests)
This also applies to reductions in guest numbers, as deposits are paid per person.
If you cancel more than 72 hours in advance, refunds can be processed manually — just contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
Large Parties & Group Bookings
For parties of more than 12 guests, please contact us directly so we can assist with your arrangements.
- Groups of 8 or more are kindly asked to provide a pre-order at least 72 hours in advance (available on our website).
- Groups of 20 or more may be asked to select from a set menu.
- A 12.5% service charge applies to groups of 8 or more.
- For groups larger than 13 guests, tables may be placed side by side.
- Booking multiple smaller tables for one large party is not permitted and may result in cancellation.
- The organiser is responsible for collecting payments and settling the final bill (split payments available by prior arrangement).
Table Duration
To ensure smooth service for all our guests:
- Tables for 4 or more guests are allocated 2 hours.
- Extended times can often be arranged with prior notice and will require a minimum spend.
- For bookings from Tuesday to Thursday, with arrival times between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m., guests are welcome to stay until closing — no standard booking time applies.
- Alcohol is served until 11:30 p.m.
Children & Seating
We warmly welcome families!
If you’ll be bringing a pushchair or require a highchair, please let us know in advance, as space is limited and we’ll do our best to accommodate you comfortably.
Celebrations & Outside Food
We love helping you celebrate special occasions!
- You’re very welcome to bring a birthday cake, and our team will be delighted to bring it out with a candle and a smile.
- For health and safety reasons, outside food and drink may not be consumed on the premises.
- Outside cakes cannot be eaten in the restaurant, but we’re happy to present them for photos or celebration moments.
- If you’d like to take your cake away, please bring your own takeaway boxes (we’re unable to provide packaging).
- We also offer homemade desserts that can be served with a candle — a lovely in-house alternative!
Guest Feedback
Your happiness matters to us.
Our team will always check in during your visit to make sure everything is just right.
If anything isn’t perfect, please let us know while you’re with us — we’ll do everything we can to make it right straight away.
After your visit, we may not be able to resolve issues that weren’t mentioned during your time in the restaurant, as we consider the experience completed once guests have left happy.
Christmas Season
We know the festive season requires extra planning, and we aim to make it as easy as possible.
- For bookings from Tuesday to Thursday, with arrival times between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m., guests are welcome to stay until closing — no standard booking time applies.
- For other days or times, extended seating may be available with a minimum spend.
- All December deposits are non-refundable, including for cancellations or no-shows.
Deposits for Christmas bookings:
- All must be confirmed by 30 October.
- Bookings made after this date require an immediate deposit.
- We’re happy to accept an initial deposit for up to five fewer guests than expected.
Final numbers and deposit balances must be confirmed by 30 October or at least two weeks before your event (whichever comes first).
Deposits for guests who cancel after this point will be forfeited.
Christmas Menus 2025:
- 2 courses with Prosecco on arrival – £39 per person
- 3 courses with Prosecco on arrival – £46 per person
- Available by pre-order only, at least one week in advance.
- The À La Carte Menu is available for non-Christmas bookings only throughout December.
- Same-day cancellations are charged at full menu price.
Allergy Information
We take allergies seriously and always do our best to accommodate your needs.
However, please be aware that:
- Some ingredients may come from suppliers that handle allergens.
- Our kitchen, while careful, is not allergen-free.
- Cross-contact can occur despite our best efforts.
If you have a serious allergy:
- Please let us know when booking and upon arrival.
- Our team will help you find suitable options.
- Guests with severe allergies should carry any required medication (e.g. EpiPen).
By dining with us, you acknowledge the possible risk of allergen exposure.

By confirming your reservation or paying a deposit, you agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions, including the Christmas Terms if applicable.
