Ciao! I’m Cristian, chef and owner of La Dolce Tavola.

For more than 20 years, I cooked in kitchens across Italy, learning from some of the country’s finest chefs and perfecting the art of authentic Italian cuisine. Every dish I create is inspired by those memories — the smell of fresh herbs, the warmth of family gatherings, and the joy of sharing good food with people you care about.

When my wife and I opened La Dolce Tavola, our dream was simple — to bring a little piece of Italy to our community. A place where everyone feels at home, where every meal is made with love, and where quality and passion come before everything else.

From handmade pasta and freshly cooked sauces to our signature supersized Italian sandwich, baked on homemade sourdough pizza bread, everything on our menu is crafted in-house with locally sourced ingredients and a lot of heart.

Whether you join us inside or enjoy a relaxed meal in our outdoor al fresco area, I promise you’ll always be welcomed like family.

We’re honoured to have been recognised as one of nine finalists for the Regional England’s Business Award, and to receive the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2025 — but the greatest reward of all is seeing our guests smile, laugh, and leave happy.
